Moi University students stage a demonstration against poor services in the institution

Moi University students led by the student leadership on Monday staged a demonstration to the
administration block of the university to project their grievances to the administration on the conduct of lectures from school of of education and school of arts.
Information reaching the leaks blog indicates that some lectures are in a go slow and have sworn not to teach until they are paid the three months salary that they claimed to have not been paid. Lectures also have been reported refusing to asses students in attachment because they have not received their salaries.
The students mostly those in school of education taking Geography have reported missing classes with some courses having not attended to by a lecture since the semester started.Lectures from school of arts assigned to teach geography on school of education have since last year been reported to harrass the education students and even not teaching them.The lectures have openly told students in class that they will not attend to classes and some directly indicated that nothing can be done to them even if this acts are reported to the authorities.
Mr Abok from school of arts and Mr Okuku have been reported to be the most arrogant lecturers in the university. They have been quoted saying: don't even rreport to the dean ..go to the VC.
