ODM party today received more than
1000 URP Delegates from Marakwet who defected from URP party .The move
by these delegates signals serious ground shift as Raila is inching closer to his initial position among the Kalenjins.
They accused URP for failing to live up to the Democratic ideals it was founded on.
Those who join PM Odinga in welcoming the defectors included the party Secretary General Hon Ababu Namwamba, Chairman Hon John Mbadi, Treasurer Timothy Bosire, Kipkori Arap Menjo, several MPs and
other ODM party officials and members.
