Appointment of Kericho senator Charles Keter as cabinet secretary will do more harm than good to URP and Kenyans in general

 The appointing of Kericho Senator Charles Keter  to Energydocket is not only harm to URP and jubilee in general but also harm to the common citizen.
President Kenyatta is innocently fighting the system from within : he has reduced the political power of URP by neutralizing its icon in the sanate Hon .Charles Meter.Are the jubilee and to be specific URP members sure that Kericho county will get a senator from the URP party? If so it gets are they sure he will replace properly the voice of Keter for Kericho county?
The appointment of Charles Keter is also introduction of another unexpected expence to Kenyans.Did the president consider it necessary and right for an election to be held in Kericho county at this time? Did he consider the cost implications to Kenyans financially and in terms of time to conduct such a by election?
The residents of Kericho chose Keter to lead them in a political seat because they saw it right that way. Why take them to an election again?
The constitution states clearly that politicians should not be appointed cabinet secretaries but the President has always ignored this and goes against the rights of the public by grabbing them their political representatives ; appointing them cabinet secretaries and forcing the electorate back to elections unnecessarily.
The government must stop this game of trickery and reconsider its decisions.
