Hostel L of Moi university main campus was on fire this after noon. A room at the second floor of the ladies hostel was on fire whose cause has not been established.
No casualties has been reported from the incident.
Several speculation on the cause has been raised one of it being the use of electric cooking coils.
Such an incident at Moi university took place on the same institution where a room caught fire in an hostel making the room occupants loose all their belongs including certificates.
Two weeks ago; Nairobi university's hall number ten was on fire whose cause has not been established to date.
