Drama as pastor is arrested for stealing laptops from university students.


A pastor was arrested on Tuesday for stealing laptops from Daystar university students.
Stephen Ochieng, who is a pastor at Christian Chapel Utawala, is alleged to have stolen a laptop and a mobile phone
on November 12 at Ruai from Fridah Wariko  costing sh 60000.

The past is also accused of stealing a laptop from Emma Nyamai  which is valued at Sh50,000 on the day.
Accordingto the prosecution ;Ochieng stopped Wariko on her way to By-pass stage in Utawala and requested her to hold battery plugs so he can start his car engine.
Wariko agreed and was later offered a lift by the suspect to Daystar indicating that he was headig the same direction, which she agreed.
Ochieng identifiedb himself as a UN staff .
He offered to get Wariko a part time job at the organisation and requested here to recruit a friend they could work with.

Wariko got in touch with Nyamai and the three agreed to meet at a restaurant to attend a training about the the job.

Pastor Ochieng later picked the students from the university and on the way asked them to push the car.The pastor decided
to speed off with their belongings after they alighted.
He was arrested while preaching at his church.
