A motorist is nursing wounds in Kisii town after an attack by highway robbers


A boda boda rider narrowly escaped death on Tuesday night in Kisii town after he was attacked by bandits.
Mr Osero is at hospital in a critical though stable condition recovering from head injuries.
The attackers hired him to transport them from Kisii town to a nearby streat of approximately six kilometers from Kisii town. The men who were expected to be dropped at Bobaracho market reached there and requested the rider to take them to Amaiga where they struck him with panga on his head and took the motorbike.
Several cases of motorcycle theft has been reported recently in Kisii town.

The police has launched investigations and no suspect has been arrested yet.
